RETAILER AND NETWORK REVIEW

Partner information

BroElectric Deals is a consumer product-search and price-comparison service built around authorized data, clear disclosures, and checkout on the retailer's own site.

Product and audience

The public search serves value-conscious U.S. DIYers, makers, and practical tech shoppers comparing exact tools, electronics, home-project gear, and hobby products. A separate sign-in-required Reseller Pro Beta provides conservative sourcing calculations and specialty deal leads. We do not publish unsupported audience or traffic claims.

Retailer coverage

This status list is intentionally conservative. “Planned” or “prepared” never means that a retailer currently appears in search or pays BroElectric Deals.

Recommended launch sequence

The operating goal is not the largest logo list. It is the shortest path to authorized current sale prices, reliable delivered-price evidence, and clearly disclosed tracked links.

1. Operate the live marketplace
eBay — Keep live search reliable while the Deal API production-access review continues.
2. Finish integrations already built
Home Depot, Acme Tools, Northern Tool — Complete network acceptance, verified-property checks, catalog or advertiser IDs, and one dry-run validation per retailer.
3. Apply for Lowe's Product Discovery
Lowe's — Request the official catalog, price, inventory, promotion, and product-detail access; build only after the data and attribution contract is retained.
4. Connect prepared product APIs
Best Buy, Newegg — Obtain credentials and affiliate approval, then prove shipping and tracking before enabling public results.
5. Expand through the bound Impact account
Target, Ace Hardware, Advance Auto Parts, Academy Sports + Outdoors, Bass Pro Shops, Cabela's — Use read-only discovery first; build ingestion only for accepted programs that expose an authorized catalog.
6. Preserve explicit holds
Walmart, Harbor Freight — Offer only approved link behavior and do not collect prices, history, or alerts without written authorization.

Promotional channels

  • deals.broelectric.com — public consumer deal search and comparison.
  • deal.broelectric.com — legacy alias for the public deal-search site.
  • reseller.broelectric.com — sign-in-required reseller Beta tools.
  • broelectric.com — the BroElectric company and electrical-tool website.

Optional email alerts are limited to people who submit the signup form. A retailer link is placed only on an approved promotional channel covered by the applicable relationship.

Integration standards

  • Use retailer- or network-approved APIs, catalogs, feeds, promotions, and qualifying links.
  • Do not scrape retailer or network services without express written authorization.
  • Do not collect retailer passwords, place bids, perform checkout, iframe retailer pages, or obscure the destination.
  • Do not use cookie stuffing, forced clicks, artificial traffic, misleading redirects, or automatic link rewriting without approval.
  • Keep credentials server-side and apply input validation, bounded requests, timeouts, caching, and provider-specific rate controls.

Shopping experience

Results identify the retailer, seller, condition, listing format, known shipping, and evidence quality. Auctions are labeled as current bids rather than final prices. Shoppers complete every transaction directly with the retailer and are reminded to verify stock, seller, shipping, eligibility, and checkout total.

Affiliate and ranking controls

Tracked links display a plain-language commission disclosure beside the action. Commission status is not an input to product matching, price evidence, savings calculations, or default result order. See the affiliate disclosure and deal methodology.

Retailer-specific safeguards

Each retailer remains disabled until its required approval, verified media property, authorized data source, and configuration are present. Provider restrictions are enforced at ingestion and public-display boundaries. For example, Walmart product-price collection, price history, watchlists, and alerts remain disabled unless the program grants written authorization for the intended use.

Review materials

Reviewers can inspect the public privacy notice, terms of use, methodology, and affiliate disclosure. Relationship-specific questions can be handled through the application or support-ticket channel associated with that retailer or network.
